The New York Capital District Association of Energy Engineers received it's
Charter from National AEE in fall of 2003. Since the inception of the
Chapter, the goal of the Association is to bring together energy industry
professionals to network, discuss energy topics and keep members informed
of the latest developments and information in the industry. We continue to
grow membership and Corporate sponsors over the 5 years and hold a variety
of monthly meetings, tours and conclude the year with a more formal Gala
where we present awards and scholarships. The Chapter was recognized by the
National AEE by awarding the Chapter with the Best Chapter Meeting in 2005
in which the meeting discussed the Northeast blackout of 2004 by the NYISO
President.
